Requirements for installing underground gas tanks

1. The tank must be installed outside the residential building and within the building's outer walls. It is prohibited to install it outside the building's wall, inside the building, or in the basement in any way.

2. The tank is installed underground in a room with reinforced concrete or brick walls, provided that the floor of the room is made of reinforced cement, level and flat, and the tank is buried with fine sand and tiles are laid so that only the filling and emptying assembly, the safety valve and the liquid level gauge, which are kept inside a locked box, are visible from the tank.

3. The gas tank must be installed within a distance of no more than 25 meters from the refueling vehicle's parking area.

4. Installing the tank on top of the building is prohibited.

5. Install a ventilation pipe if the tank is completely buried.

6. The ability to lift and remove the tank in emergency situations.

7. Ensure that all required distances are available (as per the table below) between the safety valve of the above/below ground-mounted tank and sources of sparks, wooden and concrete buildings, flammable liquid tanks, building openings, and the distance between gas tanks.

8. It is prohibited to install tanks in a way that obstructs emergency exits and stairs.

9. If tanks are likely to be located in parking areas, they must be protected by installing iron barriers.

10. Ensure that a parking space is provided for the water tanker to facilitate the filling process.
